Cream blush is mandatory if you want to keep that natural make up look out by the pool or at that Caribbean beach resort. No matter how many times you go into the water, your cream blush will never wash off.
Apply cream blush with your fingertips or with cosmetic sponges. Cream blush can also be worn in place of eyeshadow if you get stuck and absolutely don’t have any cream eyeshadow with you.
Every summer there are great cream blush shades, some with frost and some that are flat. Make sure to blend your cream blush in by using your loose face powder all over your face and of course your cheeks.
Cream Blush Application Tips:
- Purchase a light and dark blush
- Don’t wear pink blush with a red dress
- Apply the cream blush with a blush brush or a sponge applicator
- Apply blush one fingertip from the nose up to the outsider corner of the eye, in the temple area
- Apply the blush lightest in the temple area and the area closest to the nose
Cream blush can also be used for a hint of color on your forehead, chin and tip of the nose. Cream blush can come in a compact, blush stick and tube. The color blush you select should depend on the lip color you are wearing with the blush.
Consider also matching your blush with your nail color unless your nails are blue, green, black or yellow. Those are great colors for nail polish but I don’t think we are ready for blue or green blush. Cream blush in traditional shades such as coral or peach, pink, red or berry can complement any makeup style or occasion. Cream blush is also great in a tropical climate or during the summer months.
